So day 12 has come and gone. I'm getting there. The side effects I think have peaked out. Just still fatigued, yet walked a half mile today.
On another note, I was walking to the bathroom the other day and before I could get there I just blacked out. Maybe for a second in front of the nurse in my room. It didn't hurt. I felt like everything was going slow motion...matrix style.
No other big news except that my counts bottomed out on Sunday and their up 140 by today. I can discharged once my counts exceed 1000.
Shot in the dark...I'm out by the weekend???
Wagers?
My mantra for some of my challenges has always been, "Not as bad as yesterday was, not as good as tomorrow will be." One of my acquaintances growing up was a man named Tom Davis. Tom founded Piedmont Airlines (now US Air) after he got back from WWII. He was one of the few survivors of the Bataan Death March. His focus for survival, put another way, was, "one step in front of the other." You're doing a outstanding job of doing that Zach. Some days are, I'd guess, half steps but, nevertheless, you're getting closer to your goal. We--all of us if I may be so presumptuous--are here for a shoulder to lean on when needed for that next step.
